OEL (Optical Encoder Limnigraph)
It is the float-type limnigraph that has been used for years
by the customers of Aquadata Elektronik.
- Optical encoder limnigraphs are used for water level
measurements in rivers,
dams, lakes, irrigation canals, flood control,
wastewater management, coastal design, and environmental studies. -
The electronic limnigraph, which has a mini-computer feature, automatically
records the water level measurement at the desired logging interval into memory
and transfers this data via the RS-232 output of the limnigraph to a laptop,
flash card, or a remote computer if a modem is connected. -
The data logger can display the data in Excel and text file format via a
computer program. These data can be viewed graphically through the software.
- Water level, date, time, battery life, Min-Max level, setup information, serial
number, and alarm status can be read from the display.
- The system uses a lithium battery as a power source. In this way, it can
operate without the need for an external power source for up to 10 years if no
modem is used.
| - If a modem is used for remote data acquisition in the system, depending on the data acquisition interval, the battery of the limnigraph lasts 1 or 2 years.
- In case of a power outage, the Data Logger retains the stored data.
When power is restored, the old data can be retrieved accurately. - There is no deviation in the date and time in case of power failure in the Data Logger.
- Thanks to the backup battery inside the Data Logger, the date and time continue to progress normally.
When power returns, it continues recording from where it left off.
