📡 Continuous Monitoring with Radar-Based Flow Observation Stations
Within the scope of the project, 6 Radar Sensor-Based Flow Observation Stations (AGIs) and 6 Warning Systems with Sirens and Flashing Lights were installed by AQUADATA ELEKTRONİK in streams identified as high-risk flood zones.
These systems continuously monitor water levels in the streambeds and provide early warnings based on three predefined alarm levels:
-
Level 1 Alarm
-
Level 2 Alarm
-
Level 3 Alarm
Each alarm threshold is programmed into the system in advance. When water levels reach these predefined thresholds, the system automatically issues audible warnings to the nearest residential areas, helping to alert the population before a flood occurs.
🔔 Integrated Safety: Alarm & Measurement Systems in Sync
📍 This innovative structure, where AGI and Alarm Systems operate in full integration, was successfully commissioned in the Konya Basin, marking a first of its kind in Turkey.
📍 With this project, the risk of loss of life and property due to flooding has been significantly reduced, and an effective crisis management infrastructure has been established by informing local residents in advance.
✅ Successfully Commissioned and Delivered
📌 Field tests of the system were thoroughly completed by the assigned control engineers, and the entire system was officially handed over to DSİ for ongoing operation and management.
