The ultrasonic flowmeter project we implemented at Yusufeli Dam — recognized as Turkey’s largest and the 5th largest dam in the world — stands as a remarkable achievement that pushes the boundaries of engineering excellence.
This prestigious project was carried out in strong collaboration with Rittmeyer, our Switzerland-based partner of which we are the official distributor.
🔧 The Pinnacle of Technology and Engineering Harmony
📍 The ultrasonic sensors used in the project were installed directly inside the penstocks, ensuring reliable measurement performance even under the most challenging hydraulic conditions.
📊 A total of 48 sensors were successfully commissioned across 3 separate units.
🔹 For each penstock, 16 sensors were deployed to perform measurements on 8 distinct cross-sectional planes.
🔹 This advanced configuration enabled a flow measurement accuracy of better than 1%.
